About ProMaxReviews

ProMaxReviews helps people decide whether an online course, learning platform or freelance marketplace is worth their money and time. Each review lists the pros, the cons, the real costs and who the platform is not suited to.

Who runs this site

I’m Shivam D, a software engineer with over four years of experience, and I run ProMaxReviews on my own. I research, write and update every article myself.

I started the site after paying for online courses that looked good in the preview and delivered very little. When I searched for independent reviews first, I mostly found promotional posts and comparison pages written by competing platforms. I wanted a more balanced resource to exist.

You can find my professional background on LinkedIn.

What this site covers

The site focuses on two topics that often go together: learning a skill and earning money with it.

How I review platforms

Each article is built from official platform pages, published terms and pricing, and independent sources. Where I have used a platform myself, the article says so. Where a review is based on research rather than hands-on use, it says that instead.

  • Prices and terms are checked against official platform pages when an article is published or updated, and many pages show a “last checked” date.
  • Every review includes the downsides, not only the positives.
  • Reviews say who a platform is not suitable for as well as who it suits.
  • Articles are updated when I find that pricing, features or terms have changed.

Independence

I’m not owned by, employed by or sponsored by any platform I review. The site currently runs no display ads and no affiliate links, so no platform pays me when you click or sign up. If that changes in future, I will say so on this page and next to any affiliate link.

For the full details, see the disclaimer, the privacy policy and the terms and conditions.

Who the site is for

The site is written for people deciding whether to spend money on a course or platform, mainly readers in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Reviews are general information, not financial, legal or career advice, so check current terms with the provider before you pay.

Corrections and contact

If a price, feature or other fact in an article is out of date or wrong, please email me at contact@promaxreviews.com with the page link and the correction. I check it against the official source and update the article if it is confirmed. You can also use the contact page.
